Advancing Your Education: Free BCG Webinar, Tuesday, 21 April 2015

The Board for Certification of Genealogists‘ free webinar series continues on 21 April 2015, with Certified or Certifiable? Why a Genealogist Would Go Through All That Trouble. Jean Wilcox Hibben, PhD, MA, CGSM, will present the program.

A BCG press release describes the program.

“Becoming board-certified is a great deal of work. There is no guarantee that the applicant will attain that goal on the first (or even second) attempt.

So why do genealogists seek certification? What are the benefits of becoming board-certified? What does it mean to do genealogical work to a higher standard? How can your efforts reap rewards (personal and financial)?”

The webinar is at 8 ET. Seating is limited. Early registration does not guarantee a seat in this highly popular series, but registration is required of those hoping to attend. Registrants should log in early on the day of the event in order to have the best chance at getting one of the 500 available seats.
