Welcome to my library of historic Arizona case law! Linked digitized law books include case reporters and a digest. The digest includes cases from the first 16 volumes of reports, which summarize case law from territorial times into early statehood.
To use a case digest:
- check the digest’s table of cases by business name or surname to find evidence of case law involving specific parties; or
- check the digest by legal topic if exploring a specific legal issue; or
- search the digitized volume for a surname or legal topic; and
- go to the cited case reporter to locate the case. For example, if you find the digest entry Edwards v. Simms, 8 Ariz. 261, go to volume 8 of case reports. The case begins on page 261.
