Florence Mahoney’s New York City Employment Certificate
A 104-year-old employment certificate is one of two family papers providing evidence of the short life of my grandmother’s sister, Florence Mahoney. The other is her baptismal certificate.

Ohio was the first state birthed from the Northwest Territory. It is the last state formerly in Northwest Territory land to join The Advancing Genealogist’s online law library.
